Netbook Reflection

Introduction,Positives,Negatives
At the begging of this year we got to purchase a net book to last us for three years from the school for our pencil and paper. A year on from this we are going to show you a reflection. About the positives and the negatives and the things that we would do if our Netbooks got taken of us and got replaced again with pencil and paper.

Some positive thing’s about our Netbooks are that they have Internet, you can install games and that you can type instead of writing with pencil. Some stuff about the Internet is that you can go on skype you tube and math sights like X-tra math and Math Whizz. Some stuff with out use of the Internet are Tux-Paint Gedit text edit and more Educational Games and stuff. Some more stuff is that we get our own blog and Google docs.

Some negative things about our Netbooks are that they don’t automatically have Internet and when it does it some time’s go’s slow. The battery runs out fast and you don’t have to charge a book some other stuff are that you have too much emails at once and they normally about work which puts you in to more work and which you get bored. Some stuff at home are that if you have younger siblings they find it and they wreck it.

RWC Grand Re-opening 2011

With soring lights coming from the vector arena what had started out to be a usual boring Friday suddenly became a night of unexpected events! As I had forgotten it was about to be one of the biggest rugby events New Zealand has ever had. We were hosting the rugby world cup 2011 and it was opening night the most exciting night in rugby history 2011 was the rugby world cup I thought that my night was another casual night as I had forgot I tried to figure out why there was lights and fire works but before I could try figure it out I saw the 5 minute reminder on sky.
With bright lights exploding in the air in all different colors for the grand that her mum said it but after about 30 seconds I got bored until my dad came back and was going to take us there I was so excited to get out of the house and get away from watching the boring movie with my cousin.

My favorite dream dessert in the world would have to be a contuse chocolate fountain that runs all day and when there’s a cup full then they would put milk and a little cherry to top it of. Now that’s my dream desserts because it’s a milk shake and then it’s some nice dreamy chocolate that would go in to my mouth and go down my oesophagus and in to my . That I would enjoy a lot .

I like her because I like her weird costumes and her songs. I am so addicted to her because when I found out that her songs were on my dads phone I made a play list . She is so talented and successful. When I ever sing it’s always a case of lady gaga.

JESSE J
Jesse j is another piece of my favorite singer heart. I like her songs but there’s only 2 that I know and they are Not about the money and no body's perfect. But my favorite is no body’s perfect.

Pink is the other talented singer that I like. I think she should be LADY Gaga sister because they both are crazy and talented. Lady Gaga has got funky costumes and pink's got some funky hair

Australian Flood

Hi my aunt and her three kids experienced the Australian flood so I wanted to share all over my blog.

Kia ora as you know the flood was bad. There were some dummies that were in coffins that had got pushed out of the store. Of course my auntie saw all of this happen. Some of the dummies had fallen out of their coffins . Of course my auntie saw all of this happen. So now they are coming home to NZ .

Coming To New Zealand

My auntie and her three kids experienced the Australian flood in Brisbane. As you know the flood was really bad and my aunties job was closed and they couldn't drive.

When they arrive here in New Zealand we are going to throw a big surprise party.

The party is going to be for my Aunty's three kids. There will be brownies, cupcakes, cakes, savouries, like little sausage rolls, little pies and more. There also will be some karaoke, it will be fun because my cousins will be there, I can’t wait.

Netball

On Thursdays & Tuesdays some of the most talented netballer's we have in our school go up to the Morrin Road Netball Courts. To show off their talent in a game of netball everybody plays against other intelligent schools.

On Thursdays it’s our turn to got to the netball courts and show our talent off. Last week was my first game, I was excited. When we were there we had to have a little bit of practise before we got on the court.

When we finally jumped on the court my positions were GA\C (goal attack\center). My friend and I were doing long passes. When we got the ball down to the hoop we would give the ball to Chloe. Chloe would then shoot, even though I was allowed - but she is better at shooting. In the end we won 1-3. We could have got a higher score but it’s okay because the main thing was to have fun and then to worry about winning.

Monique's 1st birthday

We had to take a brisk walk to the train station, to catch the train to town and then to catch the bus to the North Shore Centre. Finally we had to take another brisk walk to my Nana's house. Luckily we just lived around the corner or else we would have been dead with all the walking.

When we arrived at 1.15 we had to wait until 5 o'clock because we had to wait until their auntie Celia, her boyfriend and her two little cute twins(boys) and their other aunties and uncles arrived.

It was time to eat, we were eating hangi but I do not eat hangi so I ate salad and sausage rolls. We ate some ice-cream and cake from the cheese cake shop. When it was time to go, my cousins and I didn't go. We stayed behind so we could go to the library and go shopping. At the end I missed my cousin Maggy.

My class went swimming when I was sick. They learnt how to backstroke.

Camp trip to skateland

Rolling precariously I pushed off the ring. I was scared that I was going to be covered in bumps and bruises, so I asked my friend if I could clutch on to her. She said yes but only if I needed her to give me a little push. I said, “Thank-you.” I started to feel a little more confident so I decided to step on to the ring.



When I stepped in to the ring I felt like it was going to be a fun beginning because heaps of people where falling over.Finally I got use to it and didn’t need any of my Friends to clutch on to. The most funny thing was that every body had been skating and had fell over but it was my first time and I didn’t fall over at once

Camp trip to swimarama

When I woke up i was so excited to go to school because of the year 5\6 camp. On our first year 5\6 camp trip we went to swimarama.

Our bus driver was really nice like all other bus drivers. Our bus driver was a male and his name was Elim.
When we got there we all sat there as a school while Mrs Garden explained the rules.

The team leaders of each camp leaders had to pick 8 people per group to swim back stroke and flutter board.While they where in the pool we got to eat our interval.After we ate we had to rest our stomach. And after the races we got to jump in and have some fun.

When the hydro slide opened then we got to go in but in groups the first group was the responstars allstars then it was our turn where called responsible rockers next was true crew and super charges and the lucky last was true crew

On Sunday when we went to the fun fest to get out of the house, I was so excited that when we walked passed the gate I ran to the KamaKazi
The KamaKazi looked like 2 big hot dogs that move in a half circle and an actual circle. Inside people go in. There are 16 seats on each side. My Auntie & I where in the front. I was laughing before it started but in the middle I was frightened. My stomach was sore from the metal belts.
After, we went to the roundup. My Auntie was scared, Dad thought that I would be the one to be scared but it was my auntie. My Auntie didn't want to go on any more because she was too scared. We all laughed at her. I felt brave because of my auntie
